Specializing in family portraiture, intimate events and children’s birthday parties since 1996, Darby Nicole Photography is considered one of Los Angeles’ prominent outdoor photographers.

We travel throughout Los Angeles County to an environment that suits your style and makes you feel most at ease: your home, a local park, the ocean… or you can choose from one of our recommended locations. Photo sittings can accommodate up to 15 people and take approximately one hour. You’ll receive proofs via email in approximately one week and can choose your photographs through email or in person at our office. Choices include color, black & white, and sepia. In addition to classic portraiture, we also offer cards, custom invitations and photo-books.

CUSTOM FRAMING

Photographing families has always been the cornerstone and passion of Darby Nicole Photography. However, as my business evolved, various creative ventures began to emerge. One of the first was the addition of custom framing, a popular choice because as clients place their orders, they can design and choose from a selection of moldings and mats, making the process interactive & enjoyable. The feedback and success of custom framing has allowed me to take my business to another level and be actively engaged in the process one step further.

As clients frequently asked me for assistance with placement of their framed photographs, whether on their wall, side table, or tucked into a bookshelf, another facet of Darby Nicole Photography was created: Darby Nicole Photography BY DESIGN. I will come into your home and create a visually appealing environment for your captured memories by reorganizing bookshelves and tabletops, combining vintage and modern design, and incorporating items such as naturally found objects to enhance the elements of your photographs.
